Hi tori. Can't say what is going on just wanted to post something for you. Have they said when they will know what is going on?

cath21 · 06/09/2006 19:20

I didn't see my yolk sac until I was 6 and a half weeks pregnant and had some bleeding in the few weeks leading up to it. Its probably nothing to worry about. (Maybe one's a faster developer!!!) watch out for any major cramping and very heavy bleeding!!!
It ain't over til the fat lady sings! (and I'm not singing!)
GOOD LUCK!

ive done another blood test 2 day & that will say if my hcg level is still going up then its ok. if it drops then im miscarring. will no at 5 pm 2 day. but it still dont explain about the second sac. they said theres a chance the yolk sac is coming later than the other 1 did. but whats the odds of that is what i dont no. it killing to wait. the story has changed so many times all ready. 1 min. its good next its bad

tori - will know at 5 - where are you?

cath21 · 06/09/2006 19:27

Its definitly possible that the second will develop later. They don't grow at the exact same time - especially if they are non identical twins.
But look at it in a positive way - you know that one is ok.....
chin up! Keep busy until later to take your mind of it!

tori1899 · 06/09/2006 19:28

thanks. i wanted someone 2 tell me that maybe 1 faster than the other. how far are you. ive had no craps no heavy bleeding. just spoting 1 day not the next then spot the next drs act like they no nothing

i'm in dc - its 2.30 - will be around to check later - fingers crossed for you

It's still very early, so that's probably why they can't give you any definite answers. If memory serves from my miscarriages (3 - of which two were quite early) they can't see a heartbeat until about 5 and a half weeks at the earliest.

Also - I believe it's not uncommon for women to bleed at the same time as they would have their period, even if they're pregnant - until the placenta takes over hormone production at the end of the first trimester.

The fact that you're not cramping would be a good sign, I'd say. Hope it turns out ok.

Hi tori any news - thinking about you - I guess your busy with dd

MrsApronstrings · 07/09/2006 14:39

still thinking of you

tori1899 · 07/09/2006 16:19

my blood teat came back real good. they will do another blood test tomorrow to make sure it keeps going up. i have another ultrasound appointment in 2 weeks. they said by then they should be able to see more. so i have to wait til then to find out about the other sac. im hoping they will see both babies & say nothing is wrong. no reason for the bleeding. i really want that other baby to be ok

Well I'm really glad to hear that - and will watch for more news in a couple of weeks.
