I dunno... maybe another test to be sure?

Grin

Congratulations and best wishes!

Thanks
ClaireF2013 · 20/06/2014 10:15

Hahaha, I know, I just "had to be sure"!

Congratulations :)

kaykayblue · 20/06/2014 11:02

lol, this did make me laugh!

Congratulations!!!

Maybe you should show your partner one test and be like "Look!! Pregnant!" then when he asks "are you sure" whip out all the others!! ahaha.

ClaireF2013 · 20/06/2014 11:09

kay, I can't even stand to throw them away!! I have wrapped them up in tissue and put them back in the Superdrug box, so I can have a sneaky peak later on!! My husband gets back on Sunday (he works away). By then, I would probably have entire crate of positive sticks, hahaha!!!

Congratulations!!!

Observer78 · 20/06/2014 13:55

On the ones I used the result disappeared / got distorted 24hrs later.

Rikalaily · 20/06/2014 14:10

Congratulations!! whispers I got a BFP today too, dp isn't back from work so doesn't know yet.

ClaireF2013 · 20/06/2014 14:11

Oh really, observer?? may have to pee on some more before he gets back then, hahaha! I did just have a sneaky peak, though-and they are all still at two lines :D I didn't expect to get pregnant so quickly, even writing "I am pregnant" feels weird! It is only our first cycle at trying to conceive, my periods are irregular, and my husband works away so we only had sex twice unprotected around the time that I thought I might be most fertile (didn't have an ovulation monitor then). Ironically, I have an ovulation monitor that I was wanting to use next month! I think I will keep it, though...I am still VERY early and don't want to tempt fate!

Eeeeeeeek, Rikalaily!!! it is so nice to have a BFP buddy on the same day!!! I hope everything goes well for both of us. We can swap notes!! How are you feeling today? I can't stop peeing, I get short of breath going up the stairs (I'm a size 8 and normally very active, never usually short of breath), and I feel horrendously tired!

I only came off my pill a few weeks ago and haven't even had a period so a bit in shock, this is no.5 and I've got pregnant quickly with the other four but not this fast lol. I was feeling a bit sick earlier so decided to test and expected a negative. Still feeling sick on and off, boobs felt a bit fizzy last night and weeing a bit more than usual but I'm drinking more in the warm weather. Other than that I feel normal... Have also had mad dreams over the last week, another sure sign for me so should have cottoned on sooner, lol.

I've been feeling more tired than usual but not much, the fatigue hits me hardest between 8-12 weeks so not looking forward to that bit lol.

MrsHoolie · 20/06/2014 14:59

I still have pregnancy tests from seven years ago,and they are still positives!
Congratulations x

ClaireF2013 · 20/06/2014 15:35

Ahhh, I hope so, Mrs Hoolie-I'd like to keep one of the Superdrug ones!

Rikalaily, I have had some very vivid dreams. I had two dreams on two different nights of positive pregnancy tests about a week ago. Don't usually tend to remember my dreams, so it did make me think!

I used a digital and had it sat on the coffee table until it went blank the next day. Husband said it was a sign to chuck out the peed on stick! Luckily I'd taken a photo!

ClaireF2013 · 20/06/2014 18:10

Awwww, Jenny, I have to admit that I am tempted to buy a digi stick just to see the word "pregnant". Plus that way when I show my husband he wouldn't ask "are you sure?" (which I am sure he will!).

JennyBlueWren · 20/06/2014 18:27

That's why I used them. Didn't want any umming and ahhing over the existence of a faint line. A clear pregnant or not pregnant was easier. Although the day before getting BFP I got "user error"!

Rikalaily · 21/06/2014 23:21

Have bought some clear blues with conception indicators today. Have been spotting since last night so going to do one in the morning and another next week and hoping my levels rise.

VandaDarkFlame · 21/06/2014 23:29

Congratulations! The top 2 tests are the same as ones I used when I was pregnant with ds2, they still show a positive result and he was 9 last month :)

ClaireF2013 · 26/06/2014 17:07

I took this yesterday! Lovely to see the word "pregnant" :D

So excited...!
