Is anyone else starving alllllll the time... I'm so hungry... I just think about food all the time and can't stop... I'm 10.5 weeks...I can't turn down any good.. I'm trying to go a lot more walking to compensate ... But still...

Please someone ... Tell me this feeling goes away ... Or this baby is going to have an addiction to cake Grin

This post made me giggle! I'm exactly the same!
I'm 10 weeks on Monday and can't stop eating it's the first thing I think about when I wake up in the morning :D
I had my booking appointment with the midwife today and I'm already a little over weight at a size 14 (good for me as 2 years ago I was a size 22) and she kept going on about healthy eating and exercise I'm sure she kept giving my 'belly' looks! I felt awful when I came out and vowed to stop shovelling food down my throat. It didn't last long though as I've just stuffed in a sausage roll and a packet of nuts aha!
Congratulations by the way and at least you know my baby will also come out being addicted to cake and anything else I can get my hands on! We'll have to start up a support group hehe. Xxx

I'm at 27 weeks now and all I want to do is eat. Especially really sugary things, like biscuits, cake, cheesecake and cream buns. Mmm. Cake

I have already gained 1 stone 8 pounds this pregnancy and I'm getting a bit concerned with how much weight I'm going to have to lose by the end of this, but I just don't seem to be able to reign in my appetite at the moment! Blush

Is cheese cake one of the things not supposed to be eaten in pregnancy?

Cheesecake is made with cream cheese which is fine to eat in pregnancy. x

I didnt have this problem in the first trimester. I got to about 22wks, and then all of a sudden i couldnt stop eating cakes and biscuits lol then that seem to fizzle out thank gawd! Then when i hit 30wks i seem to want to eat everything everyday! Waking up in the middle of the night starving! And the morning -.- now im 36+2 and its worse, as lil man is making my tummy smaller niw by pressing onit, and im so hungry all the time :( but i carnt eat too much as i just end up bringing it back up and making myself ill :( then theres the reflux! That never goes away! I. Have to chew ma food right down just so i can digest it and have. Smaller portions

I was the hungriest woman in the world from when I got my BFP just about. It seems to have eased off the last few days (Im now 11+4) but pretty sure thats temporary, and maybe heat related? I am hoping to have a little more self control this pregnancy than last.......but its so hard!

I have opposite problem actually I'm 9 weeks and I don't fancy any food, I'm not sick, I just don't have an appetite. I am trying desperately to get my 5 a day at least. I think as long as you are being healthy, enjoy food fest whilst you can! X

I'm feeling exactly that same as AMI88 at almost 8 weeks. It seems from the experiences of quite a few of you that this is something that will kick in a few weeks. Bring on the cake Grin

I'm 9 weeks today - whoop whoop. I am so hungry. I have a snack bag at work which I pick at during the day so I don't get hungry. I have ryvita with Philadelphia, constant supply of grapes and strawberries and bread sticks. Then I have my lunch and eat anything else that is going. I think it's normal and I don't appear to have put weight on. I eat little and often x
