First time here so bear with me.

I suffered an ectopic pg in july last year. It was the worst time ever... The repeated visits to EPU scans, bloods, scans, bloods after I had bled at about 5 weeks.

Well a yr on and this month I had normal af 5 june... Or so I thought... 10 days on I was still spotting and as normally only lasts 2 days I knew something wrong. I then noticed I was getting spots which I never do apart from last pg, sore boobs at side and feeling nausious.. I decided to do test and surprise 1-2 weeks on cb! I spoke to 111 for advice as still spotting they made me go a&e.. They tested and yep bfp so sent me to a ward, had a drip and tests due to previous ectopic. They said low hcg 150, scanned me but obviously too early so I am back for bloods tomorrow to see if has doubled.

I am sure its either another ectopic or already lost it but veins getting darker still so did another cb - 1-2 again so that isnt seeing a rise. I can only hope it is a viable as I lay here with my dog laying over my belly like she knows something but I am fourty on sunday and feel its my last chance as my partner doesnt really want anymore - 3 from previous so hes alright jack!!! Fingers crossed and good luck to anyone else in similar situation :-(

Please don't put that mental pressure on yourself, it'll do your head in. Stay away from phrases like "last chance" because it makes the situation unnecessarily worse.
I've just started CBT (due to difficulty conceiving, then sustaining pregnancies- all of that had a huge impact on me). Today I had my 1st proper session, where I had to say out loud things that were my deepest, darkest fears and thoughts. One of the contributing factors towards the anxiety ridden shadow of my former self was / is that pressure. Unnecessary pressure.

I do understand how you feel in so many ways, and I wish I had the answer you need to your question right now. Although unable to provide you with any solid reassurance, I felt - as one human being towards another - compelled to jump in and stop you from harming yourself emotionally.

I'll leave with this picture, hopefully it'll bring some strength to get through this uncertain time.

Have you had any more bloods done?

I am sorry for your previous loss but please don't lose hope just yet.

My HCG was much much lower than yours, infact it came back as 11 on my first blood test! The GP said that I probably had been pregnant but now it was "going away" as going on my LMP I would have been nearly 6 weeks. I had bloods repeated every 48 hours and they went from 11 to 28, to 49, then 140. They were still very very low and as I was having pain they suspected an ectopic. I had a scan two days after the first blood test which showed no sign of an ectopic but no sign of a baby being in my uterus either. Two weeks after the last blood test I had another scan, absolutely crapping my pants, but we saw a little tiny baby approximately 5+6 weeks pregnant they made me, and we also saw the heartbeat. I was in shock as I felt sure there was going to be either nothing or something bad there because of the HCG level.

I'm now 14+2, so please don't worry (easier said than done I know) xx
