Clearblue digital pregnancy tests - accuracy

Hi everyone. Has anyone used these and found them to be inaccurate with how far pregnant you are (even though you're 100% certain of your dates). If yes has your pregnancy progressed as normal? And the alternative, did it not match your dates and your pregnancy not continue. Very bad experience with these tests and never getting to '3+' even though my pregnancy continued until I was 15 weeks. Everyone told me to leave the stupid tests alone!! HCG didn't go up as it should either but 3 scans showed a healthy heartbeat which they said was a more reliable indicator everything was progressing ok. It wasn't though and our baby had chromosomal issues. I can't help but feel the clearblue tests were the first indicator something was wrong. I'm pregnant again - early days but the tests aren't matching my dates again. Please tell me its not history repeating itself and that these tests are s@@t!!! Why did I do the stupid test this morning!!!

Hi, I was obsessed with these tests in early pregnanxy and spent over £100.00 trying to get my dates to move up m, I eventually got a 3+ but it wasn't when it should of been and sent me into panic mode.

When I first tested I was 1-2 weeks, even the 2-3 weeks was later than I expected.

I no it's hard but maybe try and stay away from them. Xx

Yep that was me last time round too- I spent a fortune!!! The annoying thing is I got my 2-3 when I was exactly 4 weeks pregnant. I'm only 5+4 so it is possible its just not detecting enough hcg yet. I don't think I'll be able to resist testing again in a few days....... I feel like I need that 3+ to know things are gonna be ok this time. If I don't get it I think I'll ask my GP to monitor hcg levels again. I am totally in panic mode now and probably sounding like a crazy fool!! Thanks for your reply though. Just to update (I really am a crazy obsessed loon!!!) After a morning feeling certain everything was going to end horribly I had a bit of a thought. A few hours before I tested this morning I'd been to the loo so my wee wasn't too concentrated. Hadn't been to the loo since and just thought I wonder if its more concentrated now. It was, I tested and I got my 3+ . I know I will sound silly but this was such a big deal to me. I know I'm not in the clear yet but I guess it means things aren't quite the same as last time so this may turn out different. Next step is for my little bean to keep where he/she is and then harmony testing at 10 weeks. No more clearblue for me though!!!!!

I got a 3+ at 5+5 first time round. Admittedly I hadn't peed for about 4 hours as I'd just flown back from prague. I really do think it depends on how concentrated your urine is.

Both times that I've been pregnant the cb digi never got past 1-2 weeks on the indicator when it should have been saying 2-3. I even went to my doctor the last time it happened because I knew something wasn't right. I miscarried both times.

Also, I won't use cb digital with indicator to test now. I just don't want to know, I feel like they're really foreboding and I know they're not that accurate anyway.

Thanks for your responses everyone. For today at least I feel a sense of relief, no doubt tomorrow I'll be back to my normal self (normal meaning panicking, emotional, scared!). So sorry to hear of your losses Monkeybubbles. I was the same- I just knew something wasn't right last time, and that feeling started when I got my inaccurate result from clearblue. Don't give up, I hope it happens soon for you
