Just looking round for prams for bub, has anyone had a chicco CT 0.1 Trio Travel System? I want a carrycot with the travel system and this one seems quite reasonable. Thanks

Yes, I have this travel system and if I am fortunate enough to fall pregnant again I will not be using the carrycot. I was carrying my then 3 month old son downstairs in his carrycot when one of the handles literally came of on one end, tilting my baby out of the carrycot and he bounced downstairs. Chicco didn't really want to know and fortunately my son suffered no harm but enough to put me of using ever again. The pushchair I use and that is lightweight and easy to use so long as you don't intend doing a lot of travelling by bus. I also ended up buying a Graco infant carrier as the Chicco one didn't seem to be as well padded as some others but thats a personal choice.

Another one I am afraid with a problem, my tyre fell off my 10 month old Winter London pushchair last week. The retailer (small independent told me sorry only guaranteed for 6 months). Ok, fair enough so I emailed chicco uk. They too, said we only guarantee for 6 months and charged me 6.00 for another wheel. Whilst putting it on, we noticed that another tyre had come loose. I have emailed them again and asked for a bit of goodwill this time, but I don't hold out much hope, they were useless to start with.

Would not ever buy one again and I strongly recommend that you check how long your guarantee is. If it's 6 months, don't buy as things do go wrong with buggies & pushchairs.
