Am 8+2, and have no pregnancy symptoms at all.

My boobs were tender and sore last week, but are just normal now. Had a bit (and I mean a little bit) of nausea last week, but nothing now. And I have not been hit by a wall of tiredness, despite being 43 and having a 20 month old toddler to care for.

My emotions are up and down, and I am trying so hard to be positive, but can't shake the feeling that I am just not pregnant any more.

Had two miscarriages in the past, then went on to have DD. To be fair, I wasn't particularly 'pregnant' with her, and pretty much sailed though (apart from some bleeding early on...had an early scan at about 8 weeks, and amazingly there was a heartbeat).

I'm wondering whether to try and get a doctor's appointment tomorrow...don't know what they could do...would an early scan be offered considering previous miscarriages and my age? Would they be able to hear a heartbeat with a doppler at this stage?

So, has anyone else had a successful pregnancy with no symtoms?

I had nothing at all until about 10 weeks, now 28+5 x

rallytog1 · 12/06/2014 13:31

Yes. Symptoms hit me like a train at 14 weeks though. That pregnancy is now a delightful 13mo dd.

My mum had twins and didn't realise she was pregnant at all for a while. :)

Some people luckily skip the sickness and tiredness!

Scoobsmam13 · 12/06/2014 14:19

No symptoms here either, with DC1 who is now 6, or in this pregnancy (so far, I'm 10.5 weeks). Think we are lucky, although I do keep thinking could there be another reason for the BFPs sore boobs and no periods? Lol

You probably won't be able to detect the heart beat with a doppler, I think its from 16 weeks PG they use them but I might be wrong.

Congratulations!

Baby number 1 I had no symptoms at all apart from my skin got awful towards the end. Everything was fine, I was just lucky.

Emzar · 12/06/2014 14:27

I had virtually no symptoms first time round - a couple of waves of nausea that passed in minutes, that was about it. DS is 3 now!

petitverdot · 12/06/2014 14:28

I only had hunger and sore boobs, and like you, they disappeared at around 8 weeks. Now almost 25 weeks and baby seems to be fine, touch wood!

feetheart · 12/06/2014 14:29

Yes, which is how come I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 15 weeks with DD Shock. Rest of pregnancy and subsequent one with DS 3 years later very easy apart from heartburn. They are now 11 and 8.

Hope you are as lucky :)

And a craving for Marmite crisps with both :o

Estrella1 · 12/06/2014 16:46

I have no simptoms. No cravings, no nausea. No pain so far. I am 20 weeks. I do get a bit more tired than usual

hubbahubster · 12/06/2014 17:25

With DC2 I had no symptoms. Except a bump in later stages! No sore boobs, no sickness, no food aversions... Not at any point. She's now 3 weeks old and feeding like a champ as we speak! The whole pregnancy was so easy compared to DC1, and BF has been easy too - had all sorts of health issues while pg with her brother and then couldn't BF so fingers crossed you have an easy pg too!

jaykay34 · 12/06/2014 17:35

I am 25 weeks pregnant and didn't have any symptoms at all ! I even had periods and didn't know I was pregnant until 15 weeks. I had to have a dating scan and the hospital staff were shocked.

Thankfully the periods stopped at 20 weeks (unexplained) and since 21 weeks I've steadily been growing a bump - but apart from the bump, its not like I've been pregnant - no sickness/emotional outbursts/sore breasts whatsoever !!

weebairn · 12/06/2014 18:26

Not personally but I know a fair few friends who had no symptoms lucky swines

Snook99 · 12/06/2014 18:29

Me neither, had one day of being sick was a bug though and other than cramps and sore boobs had nothing been very straight forward 18+5 and still the same ??

Ragwort · 12/06/2014 18:32

I had no symptoms for the 1st 10 weeks (thought it was the menopause Grin) as I was not 'actively' trying to get pregnant Wink. Went on to have a problem free pregnancy.

IHaveBrilloHair · 12/06/2014 18:36

Absolutely none at all except for a bump, DD is almost 13 now.

Thanks for your comments everyone.

I shall keep them all firmly at the front of my mind and TRY to stop worrying about something I have no control over!

Will decide in the morning whether to book a doctors appointment...am conscious of wasting their time because I'm not actually ill.

Otherwise, my booking-in appointment is in two weeks (when I will be 10 weeks pregnant).

Good luck to you pregnant ladies who replied.

Yes with both of mine Smile

I didn't have any symptoms, looking back I realise I was lucky I wasn't feeling tired and sick, but at the time I worried. A friend also didn't have any symptoms and went for an early scan because she was worried, all was fine and it putr her mind at rest, so don't worry about wasting time if it makes you feel less worried.
