I'm 36+4 and I just attempted to shave my fanjo with a hand held mirror (disaster) when I noticed that my vagine was a lot 'looser' than usual. My cringe lips so sorry were really apart and bits were all hanging out. My noon was always quiet 'closed' before so now to see it looking so messy is a bit of a shock. Is this normal in pregnancy?

If you think it looks loose now, wait until you've had a vaginal birth

37 + 3 and noticed it looked a bit....open, yesterday. Pressure from the head maybe? I don't know but as you say, normally it's just closed looking!

I didn't dare look at it in the mirror for weeks after birth last time, had some stitches & was generally scared of what I might see. When I did eventually look it was normal thankfully Grin

Oh thank God, it's not just me Smile. I know it's not going to look as closed as normal after vb, but I was just alarmed to see it so open.

I had my baby 7 weeks ago and mine was like that from 36 weeks it was quite puffy and swollen to lol sorry tmi,

It was painful sitting on the loo felt like it was so tight.

I ended up having emergency c section. So it's look how it use to lol

Congratulations sweetpea! Agree re: swollen as well. I think it's just best not to look from now on Wink

if it still looked closed and virginal at this point, surely you'd be more worried about how baby would come out??

fanjos get all big in pregnancy in preparation.
