So, I saw my consultant today re all the bleeding I've been having. He did an internal-checked cervix was closed and took a swab. Now tonight I'm having crampy pains, mainly low down on my right side, and the bleeding is happening. Is it likely he's just disrupted things up there??

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Oh crikey that sounds stressful! How long has it been going on, and have you had a scan yet? I think its quite possible its unsettled things down there. If its any consolation I bled all the way through my last pregnancy, and they never found out where it was coming from. He was 6 weeks early, but perfectly healthy, and is now 18 and 6 foot something!

Been going on since a few days after I got the bfp! It's been a loooong couple of months! This is my 3rd baby and I had bleeding with the first(now 10) and mainly just brown spotting with my youngest. This time is on another scale though! It's literally dripping tonight :( my eldest son was born at 29weeks after waters breaking at 23 weeks.
I'm dreaming out a bit tonight as the blood is quite watery... I always assume the worst so I'm convincing myself my waters have gone!
The other half is being very helpful and is snoring !!

Morning no real helpful advise but didn't want to read and run. I'm 5 weeks and have been cramping and bleeding/spotting for the past 2 days and I'm going to the hospital today. Maybe call your dr or go down to A&E if your really worried. It sounds like the dr may have just irritated something when he did his check.

Hiya I bled at 6 wks with DS1 then huge gush at 11 weeks and continuous bleeding until 16 weeks. DS2 was similar but less weeks.. I think 12-14. Very scary I know. Good luck OP xx

I've had scans and baby was fine. I'm scheduled for a scan to measure length of my cervix soon and if that's too short, they'll put a stitch in it!! Ew!!
My main worry is my water breaking early again. Not enjoying this pregnancy at all. I'm an emotional mess this morning but need to put a brave face on for hugo(my 2yr old) what I'd give for a day in bed!!x
