When is/was your '20 wk' scan?

Mine is booked for just after 21 weeks. Is this ok timing-wise? So long to wait!

Should be fine, 20wks is just a rough guide I think. Mine is tomorrow, and I will be 20+4. My friends is Friday and she will be 21 exactly.

21 and a half weeks. I was folder 'later is better'. There's a zone of time when it's done. Not 20 wks on the nose.

I will be 21 +6 for my scan. Only 2 weeks left and very excited!!

In my trust area they do it at 19 weeks. There was a reason, but I've forgotten (they only told me yesterday as well!)

So I'll be 19+4 when I have mine.

Mine was at 19 + 2. The literature I had was that it was done at around 20 weeks. I think previous posters are right, its a guide to do it at 20 weeks. I don't think they consider how excited we might be and want to see baby again asap!!

Mines also 20 weeks exactly. But I was lucky as my booking in appointment was at 7+4 due to being unable to get out of work at 8 weeks so I could ring and book my 12 week scan quickly and at my 12 week one they booked me for exactly 8 weeks later.

Mine was 20+5 but I had a friend that was booked in for her 12 week scan when she's have been 17

Thanks all. Quite a lot of variation! I suppose the bigger baby is, the easier it is to get measurements...

Mine was 18 +1 day.

First one was 19+1 had to have a rescan as monkey kept moving so couldn't get all the measurements and rescan was at 21 on the nose.
