Its so so hard towards the end when your body and willingness seem to just stop, yet there is still aaaageesssss to go Sad

It will be so so so nice though, walking out on that last day!

Nooooo!! You want those delicious two weeks peace at home when you can nap all day and have baths at eleven am just because you feel like it.

Mssleepyhead I had my GCSE class complain my room was "hot and smelly" yesterday, even with the windows open. Yes indeed, and I have been in it ALL DAY filling more and more with the scent of teenage boy and Lynx, bllleeeaaauurrgh.
Unfortunately smelly teenage boy is not on any risk assessment.

oh god, I do NOT envy teachers going through this. The idea of lynx smelling teenage boys just made me almost puke! hang in there!!!!!

I love how classrooms manage to be freezing cold to the point of needing a scarf on all day, in the winter... but baking hot to the point of sweat running in your eyes, in the summer. That's every classroom I've ever worked in, even a newbuild 'state of the art' one.

SouthDerbyshireMamma · 10/06/2014 08:27

I feel your pain OP. I've got 4 weeks left as I'm also working to 38 weeks. Absolutely exhausted! I work with another pregnant lady who is constantly cold (weird) so everytime I leave the room she switches the air con off and the heating on!! Not sure our working relationship will last the next 4 weeks lol

nyldn · 10/06/2014 09:10

I was freezing at 10 weeks but the idea of it now sounds insane. constantly peeling off clothing now...

Im starting my mat leave very early compared to most. I'll be 30 weeks when I finish in 10 weeks. Im a chef so I'm already struggling with the heat/standing all day. Im going to be soooooo bored, but I still have a nursery to decorate, a ton of second hand clothes to wash and 3 wedding cakes to make (just started my own business from home) so hopefully it won't be that bad!!
