I have a DD 8 months and am 6 1/2 months pregnant.. This morning i found tough getting DD up and ready at 7am getting ready myself and feeding DD getting her to creche and go to work.. I got so fed up i fired the top of the bottle across the kitchen, I feel so bad for this and DD.
Please tell me i am normal and that there are other mothers out there that feel its getting on top of them..

NORMAL!!!

I had enough problems coping with a 2 yr old and a pregnancy, let alone an 8 month old!!

MINNIE1 · 04/09/2006 11:25

Anyone out there with experiance of 2 babys under 1.. Is this going to be the case every morning..

Although I do love being pregnant, Im no 16 weeks, Im harping on at ds ages 4 to get dressed so we can go to the doctors... what am I doing? Sitting in bed on the laptop in my pjs LOL I have no energy!!

Also 6 and bit months pregnant, and dd (2.8) and I both caught colds last week. Not big colds, nothing major, just draining. I'm a SAHM and I have lots of help from DH, but I am finding myself almost in tears with tiredness most days at one point or another! OK, I'm an older Mum, but still...

...I'd say with an 8 month old and work, you're more than normal you're doing brilliantly.

Nemo1977 · 04/09/2006 13:20

NORMAL Normal normal minnie
Felt ready to explode this morning due to dd and ds both waking in the night. Was also ds first day at playschool today so had to get a mardy nesarly 3yr old ready along with a hyper 8mth old and just wanted to cry or scream..possibly both..lol

MINNIE1 · 04/09/2006 13:49

Spent half the morning in tears just feel i am failing and letting dd down . I think i am having one of those days where the world is against me.

I am finding it hard enough just being pregnant and going to work nevermind another baby to look after, You are dong Brilliantly!

LucyJones · 04/09/2006 14:23

Wow, that is some age gap
Totally normal though. I'm almost 9 months pregnant and poor ds is getting his daily fix of cbeebies!!

kdinas · 04/09/2006 14:26

I am 7 months pregnant, got a 3 year old to preschool this morning, spent morning dozily playing with 17 monthold, put him down for his nap, went to sleep, just got u[p and asked neighbour to pick up 3 year old.
Can't believe how tired I am!
To think I was looking forward to him starting school!
Must be shattering if you can't crawl into bed at some point in the day!
POOR YOU!

Booboobedoo · 04/09/2006 14:33

Well, if you think you're pathetic...

I'm 14 weeks pregnant, still on jammy summer holidays (teacher), no kids, and I feel incredibly sorry for myself.

Don't know I'm born, me.

I think anyone who goes through PG looking after another LO is a hero.

LucyJones · 04/09/2006 14:36

although at least your lo still naps in the day at that age - make sure you do too

julezboo · 04/09/2006 15:37

whats a nap?? LOL my lo is 4yrs old and doesnt do naps, doesnt even do quiet time unless the cartoons are on!!! Im exhausted!

coderoo · 04/09/2006 15:44

welshmum · 04/09/2006 15:55

I'm having trouble coping with going back to work with a 1 year old, let alone doing all that AND being pregnant too!

You are normal and it's ok to feel crap. Is there anyone to help you in the mornings?

MINNIE1 · 05/09/2006 09:01

Morning,
Yes DP is there to help, he brings DD to creche in the mornings.. I really was having a bad day yesterday, This morning was brill DD got up in great form and DP was poping about. I think i needed to let of steam. Feel all the better for it now though.
