Strange feeling

Ladies I'm 11+1 just lying on sofa with hubby and al of a sudden had the sharpest pain in my stomach, it was like a really severe cramp and after felt tingly for a while. Only lasted a second or so, I thought hubby had punched me in the stomach! Any ideas? X

I have had regular pains since the first weeks of pregnancy and believe they are something to do with my bowel. The hormones and later on displacement as the uterus gets bigger can cause the bowel to be irritable and also gas get trapped a lot more! However, I would say if you are concerned to ask your midwife or GP for advice.
