sharp pain in right side what to do

Hi all, im 13 +4 wks. I have been having a sharp pain intermittently in my right side today. I just got 4/5 in a row there. I don't feel particularly great today but can't quite put my finger on what it is exactly.

Are they just growing pains? Cause if that's all they are then I can take this scowl and frown off my face and reduce my wrinkle development.

They really aren't pleasant though.

Hi Martie, I have exactly the same as you (13 + 4) and went to the docs about the pains on my right this morning.

Was told not to worry it's just the uterus stretching to accommodate the growing baby. He did say to sit down if it happens again or lie on my left to alleviate the pain.

Thanks 2014MrsH. Im now dying slowly with heartburn. It's just not a good day. My google search says its just stretching too but the pains can really take the wind out of you they are so sudden. Im telling my friend about my pg tomorrow and she just had a bub in November so hoping she has lots of useful info. Now to go and drink a huge glass of milk.....

I remember I had this when I was pg, but if you're at all worried do call your midwife.
