Im 27 weeks, had a private scan at weekend and head is down x

My little darling has been head down from 28 weeks. Hes still there at 33+5 :-)

Ok, thanks.

I'm almost 26 weeks and breech from as far back as they first note presentation. I know because I get kicked in cervix and feel head up high.

I know it's far too early to worry but my last baby was breech at term, never turned and I had a CS.

I would just feel so disappointed if it happens again.

I'm 31 weeks and still head up as far as I'm aware

DS had turned long ago by now.

I'm like you OP, baby has not moved from a transverse/breech position for as long as I can remember the movements. Am now 36 weeks and baby is being turned at hospital on Monday. Is this something you could ask for??

Pobblewhohasnotoes · 05/06/2014 18:03

You don't have to agree to that though, am I right?

polkadotdelight · 05/06/2014 18:05

The midwife said head down at my 25 week check but presumably he can turn before then?

Pobblewhohasnotoes · 05/06/2014 18:15

I think they can turn anytime, and flip back again!

polkadotdelight · 05/06/2014 20:35

Im praying he is head down when it matters!

eurochick · 05/06/2014 20:38

Mine was transverse all the way to 26 weeks. Head down at 28 week scan, but moving lots at the moment.

AnnaBanana25 · 05/06/2014 20:45

My midwife only said the baby was head down at 34 weeks, still there at 38 and engaging now.

aj86 · 06/06/2014 07:54

My baby has been head down the whole way through my pregnancy until my last MW appointment at 34 weeks when it had helpfully spun around. I'm now keeping everything crossed it's made its way back the right way around by my next appointment on Tuesday otherwise I'll have to go to the clinic to try and get it turned.

It's my first baby and I've got my heart set on a water birth at my local mlu which I don't think they'll let me have if baby is breech when I go into labour! Hmm

36 weeks was head down, any mw appointment before that was head up my ribs. This is DC2, DC1 was back to back but turned. I was told by the midwife to avoid leaning against sofa/chair whilst sitting and lean forward instead, also do some jobs on all fours ( gardening, floor scrubbing). Looks like it helped

Mine was breech at 34 weeks and had turned by my 36 week check
