Should I see Gp for this or just let it go away on its own

Today is day 3 of having the worst head cold..
I'm 20 weeks pregnant with dc2 and lately I'm coughing so much my chest hurts, my throat hurts and last night I woke up with extreme headache that felt like burning. So I took one paracetamol and could sleep for a couple hours but then woke up again and it was worse so I took another one..

I'm drinking a lot of water and tee.
But now I can't keep my eyes open as they burning my head feels like it is going to burst in pieces..

I don't know what to do. I have a 9 month old son who wants to play with me and be cuddled as he is teething in the moment and also just got over a cold

I it's just a head cold I don't think there's anything you can take for it. You can take two paracetamol four times a day which might help. You can also use steam to try and clear your head a bit, its never really worked for me but some friends swear by it for a cold.

If you still have the cough and headache tomorrow I'd see the GP as you may have a chest infection which would need antibiotics.
