26+2 and it's gone a bit quiet

I'm getting a bit stressed today...last two days baby has been a hive of activity....today I've barely felt anything and assuming what I gave felt isn't gas. I've tried freezing cold water and laying down but so far no reaction... Should I be worried or is this just a 'quiet' day... Do they happen at this later stage?

I'm constantly worrying when baby seems quiet and it's a little bit stressful :-(

Clearly my main concern is that bubba is ok.

Although they don't seem to develop a pattern until 28 weeks at the earliest, for your own peace of mind suggest ringing labour ward and have a chat with someone. They'll be able to put your mind at rest (frankly at times like these seeking help on Internet forums isn't the best idea; everyone has an opinion, their own experience, but aren't your medical team).
All is well I'm sure

Thanks Observer78. I phoned at around 1:45am and they asked me to come in. Baby's heartbeat still nice and strong so the little monkey was just hiding from me and as soon as we got home gave me a couple of hard kicks to thank me for waking him/her up!

Glad they saw you. It's nice when they understand you're worried even if it's before the patterns form.
