So had a positive test last night. I'm happy, excited, nervous and scared all at the same time!

I don't know how far along I am but I think about 3-4 weeks maybe. Should I go to the doctors straight away or should I leave it for a couple more weeks?

Congratulations Smile call your gp today so that they can contact midwife then you wait to be contacted by midwife Smile x

Congratulations! You can self refer to the midwives now as that what I have done - ring your GP's and they will advise you and give you the relevant details.

Brilliant News :-)

Thank you! Very nervous as wasn't expecting it to happen so quickly (although I am very happy) and I almost won't believe it until I've had it confirmed at the doctors.

With all 3 of my pregnancies the first being 6 years ago the latest 1 month ago the docs never confirm it they just seem to take your word for it! Very strange!
Good luck Smile

Ahh very exciting for you Smile

Congrats. Smile If you phone your GP they should be able to tell you the process (some GPs want to see you, others will just refer you straight to the midwife). Be mindful that your first appointment with the midwife (your booking appointment) may not be for quite a few weeks though, but it's worth getting referred early.

Thank you for the advice! :)
