Thanks for the cushion info and the frozen condom tip whereisshe - I just hope DH doesn't mistake them for some kind of ice pop Grin

Not sure if this applies in the UK but I had loads of various government agencies/other to inform of the birth. So I wrote myself a list of who to inform and prepared some envelopes.

Was worth it cos I had a non-sleeping relux baby and boring admin things would definitely have been low on my to do list after the birth!

Ahh, I started a thread like this a few weeks before my 5 month old pfb dd was born! Some great suggestions here, I will add washing and drying all the baby's clothes, blankets etc, make sure you have plenty of Muslins and bibs, even if your newborn isn't sicky you will be glad of tgem when dribbling kicks in! Also at least one spare set of bedding for your bed and a couple for the baby.

Don't spend the time wishing your pregnancy away. Take lots of pictures, videos of baby kicking, you might miss that!

Have fun xx

Get some cake in so that you have some to give visitors. Also make a list of things that need doing as you think of them. When people come round to visit and they ask is there anything they can do to help you can give them something off the list.

Make sure DH knows how the washing machine and microwave works.

Write envelopes for people who are likely to give you gifts or for birth announcement cards.

Make sure camera is charged, ink in the printer and photo paper
