Would I be crazy to go on a sun holiday (Balearics / Greece) when 28/29 weeks pregnant with my husband & 5 year old?
I'm low risk. Just not sure if it's a good idea it not!

Go for it! Just make sure the travel agent / airline will allow you to fly.
Should baby decide to make an unlikely early appearance - Greek doctors are fabulous.
Oh, and make sure you have the appropriate travel insurance cover.
Enjoy, and send us a postcard!

Nope absolutely not crazy. I went at 27 weeks pregnant with twins to the Canaries with our DC who was 4 and it was perfect and a lovely break before the true craziness of newborns started. Drink lots of water on the flight and walk round, sit in the aisle seat. Also take it easy the day after travelling, put your feet up on the sunbed & get the other 2 to look after you. You will need a doctors letter to say you are fit to travel past 28 weeks. Enjoy your holiday!

We did Tenerife at a similar stage as I knew our older DC wouldn't get a summer holiday abroad as DC3 was due in July. It was lovely, I felt really well in the sunshine! Went downhill after that mind!

Sounds fine. I went at 30 weeks to Corfu with a 4 yo and it was fine. I had a letter from my GP but no one ever checked it!

Most airlines want a fit to fly letter from 28 weeks so check that, and also check that your insurance is valid.

I'm just back from a long weekend at my IL's place in France at 27 weeks. It was lovely. The Ryanair flights didn't do much for my back, but at least they were fairly short.

Check you travel insurance though. Heaven forbid something happens you want to make sure your covered. I missed a hen do in Paris because I found out at the last minute my policy was invalid after 28 weeks. Rubbish! Xx
