Anyone had any problems after flying while pregnant

Hi

We're scheduled to fly long haul when I would be around 20 weeks pregnant. This was planned pre pregnancy. With a history or miscarriage and pregnancy induced high blood pressure (late in pregnancy) I'm wondering if I'm playing with fire.

Anyone had good/ bad experiences while or after long haul flights??

Thanks in advance

I flew long haul (uk - Mexico) at 26 weeks and back at 28 weeks during my first pregnancy.

I wore flight socks, drank lots of water and moved regularly during the flight. I also took a small dose of aspirin (on the advice of my MW) for a week before each flight.

I did have a fitness to fly certificate from my GP but nobody asked to see it.

I also made sure that my travel insurance covered me and any baby related complications including repatriation. It cost a bit more, but was worth it for peace of mind.
