As it says. Superdrug test. POAS and only looked at it straight away and did see something but it looked too faint. In the bin over an hour later v strong line in both windows.

Lines are v pink. Is it a line (ie pregnant) or what?

Argh. Help!!!

Sounds like a positive to me too, could get an electric-no guessing then!

MrsFlorrick · 03/06/2014 09:44

Phew. Did a first response with fmu this morning and its negative! Relieved.
The superdrug one must be a duff test. How scary!

Thanks for all the moral support. Not much sleep last night.

I would recommend you test again later, a false positive is unlikely. Hope you get the result you want.

MrsFlorrick · 03/06/2014 10:01

Iwill. You're scaring me! Shock

I've got a two pack so I can wait and see if AF turns up in the next 36 hours and then test again if not.

The odd feeling and taste in my mouth may be explained by illness. I've got bad tummy ache and both the DC and I have had diarrhoea over night. Some sort of mild stomach virus perhaps. Hope so anyway. Now just wait for AF confirm it 100%.

Sorry I do not mean to, but I think you may just want to make sure again.

MrsFlorrick · 03/06/2014 11:59

Iwill. Indeed. Grin Hence the two pack of first response. Want to be sure obv. Still confused about the positive superdrug test. Not buying them again!

This happened to me and I was pregnant! Nothing there to begin with and a line when I checked again after a hour or so. It took a couple of days of testing before the line started showing up straight away. Have you re-checked this morning's test since doing it?

MummytoMog · 03/06/2014 14:15

Erm, not to worry you, but I've always found Superdrug tests to be the most accurate and also to be most accurate for me after lunch, not with FMU. First response generally shite.

MummytoMog · 03/06/2014 14:17

When I say most accurate, I guess I mean the earliest correct positive - so with my DD I got a faint line at 10DPO, in the office at lunchtime. With DS I got a squint at it funny and it's there line at 9DPO in the evening.

Of course this one was a total surprise, I only peed on the stick to rule it out. Ha. How stupid did I feel. Never seen a line come up so fast.

Yikes!!!!

Just rummaged in the bin (naice) and no line on this mornings test. No even an evap or nuffink.

I also did a Tesco tests just now after reading this about FR. And nothing. No line.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for AF appearing in the next 36 hrs.

If not I guess it's back to superdrug Hmm

I should add I was a bit panicy so bought the extra Tesco one on the way home from school run.

I guess there is nothing for it other than twitching away until AF hopefully arrives (wibble) Confused

mummytomog me too.

Nospringflower · 03/06/2014 21:53

I'd get back to super drug tomorrow - sounds a bit suspicious that the line was there at all even if it took longer than meant to. Not that I want to worry you!

RubyrooUK · 03/06/2014 22:01

Hm. I've found tests so variable that I think another one is worth a go. I think FR picked up a faint line well before any of the others for me. The digital one claimed I wasn't pregnant and then leapt to 3 weeks + all of a sudden!

MrsFlorrick · 03/06/2014 23:07

Confused I was becalmed this morning by the negative FR but you're all worrying me.

Argh. It's hard to wait. Anyway I will have another go with the spare FR tomorrow morning.
