hiya i have just joined this site today.... on wednesday last week i found out im pregnant im nearly 41 with two very grown up children and a grandson the best of it is i was sterlised 2 years ago as me and my partner decied we didnt want anyone children as he has 6 himself we have been together for 5 years and getting married in september i have a emergancy scan booked for tuesday as ive been told there is a high risk of the baby growing in my tube has anybody else had this happen ? any feed back would be great thank you for taking the time to read my post 1 very SHOCKED lady xx

Congratulations Marie! A big shock but very exciting all the same! I'm expecting my 4th, and my youngest is currently 18 and my granddaughter will be 2 in July! It is my first with my new husband, we married last December. Your age doesn't make an ectopic more likely - I wonder if its the sterilisation? Sorry, I don't know much about that side of things. I have my 12 wk scan on Tuesday, so I'll be thinking of you! xx

congratulations. im 37 was told similar but also not to worry. im currently 10+6 and have an 18 year old. we got an early scan to check for baby in tubes but was whsre it was meant to be.
