How far are you

Your internal organs move around and can sometimes trick you into thinking you're feeling kicks or your main artery can make itself felt on rare occasions.

If you can feel kicks then you would be able to feel your uterus if it's popped and you're pregnant.. lie on your back and use the flat of your hand on your pubic bone and see if you can feel it.

It could be all in your head.

To feel movements, you'd be in your second trimester. Any other symptoms in the last months? Any belly?

But it IS possible, and the coil CAN mask a pregnancy to a certain extent. Also testing later in a pregnancy might get a negative result because it 'floods' the test with hcg.

Talk to your doctor about your concerns and ask for a scan if you think it's possible or need to be put at ease.

Do you have a child already?

I've had feelings like third within a yr of giving birth

Very, very rarely, you can have a negative pregnancy test and still be pregnant at a late stage of pregnancy. A Mirena coil makes no difference to that.

If you are feeling real fetal movements, you would be at least 20 weeks so the uterus would be up to the belly button.

It is highly unlikely you are pregnant but a GP would be able to examine you and get a blood test/scan if appropriate.

Your body can fool you. I occasionally get feelings that ate exactly like kicks - but ds3 is 17, dh had the snip 16 years ago, and I have a mirena coil, so I am pretty sure I am not pregnant. Oh, and this has been happening for years now, so,if I am pregnant, it is the world's longest pregnancy ever.

If you can feel kicks, you'd be over 20 weeks pg and therefore would probably (but not definitely) have a noticeable bump and other symptoms. How many weeks pg do you think you would be?

I have felt kicks all my life. When I was pregnant with my first I didn't realise what the movements were for weeks because I was so used to feeling baby kicks all my life. If you have no other symptoms like sore boobs or extra weeing then it is probably just your food digesting xxx
