Vitamin B6! It changed my life!

Also get some travel sickness wrist bands.

Don't get hungry and get as much sleep as possible. Hopefully everything together will help. Good luck!

I'll have to check and see if pregnacare has B6 in it as that's what I'm taking. Will send hubby to get wristbands. Thank you x

Just checked pack and it has B6 - been taking these for a while now. Not noticing a difference. I think I may just have to ride out this trimester. I don't know how. My husbands just said it's going to be a long 9 months!! Lol

I'm the same. It's horrendous. I'm really hungry but as soon as I picture myself eating, my mouth starts to water and I gag. It's happening right now Sad

I think my pregnacare has B6 in it but I will try the wrist bands. I will try anything (as long as it doesn't harm the baby of course!)

Bilbo how far gone are you? I'm about 6 weeks. We will get through this together!! Lol

7+5. It started in week 6 for me. I'm trying to cheer myself up by telling myself it's a good sign!

Have you gone off sugary things big style like me? When I can manage a bit of food it HAS to be salty for some reason... And I have to drink fizzy water since the burping actually relive the nausea a bit (sorry, TMI Blush )

Yes we will get through this!!!

Donkle · 31/05/2014 19:18

I'm just over 8 weeks and have had the same for 3 weeks now with extreme vomitting, you really have my upmost sympathy.

I haven't been into my kitchen for weeks and can't even look at food on the TV.

Hopefully it'll pass soon :)

I sank to a new low: I threw up in the shower Sad I wasn't even brushing my teeth! I was washing my hair! Shock

How are you ladies feeling today?

Noappointmentnecessary · 01/06/2014 16:34

Lol - your comments make me laugh. Maybe we are all carrying girls which is why we feel so sick. I went food shopping today - big mistake - wretching in the aisles - and as for the stench of the fish counter - omg. I can't eat anything sweet which is unusual for me as I love cake!! I just don't know what to eat. I did buy a big bag of frozen chips. I hate vomiting, but a needs must if it makes me feel better. When will it get better???

I still can't believe it's real. The test was positive but I haven't had any midwife appt yet.

Same here Noappt no midwife appointment. I sent my form Friday last week so maybe I need to be patient!

Ugh, the fish counter. Hence why I send DH to the shops now. Positive thing though: I'm saving a fortune on food Grin

Noappointmentnecessary · 01/06/2014 17:55

My appt is 23rd June. It came yesterday. Can't wait. I'm eating chips for dinner right now!! Lol

Hi hope you don't mind if I join, feeling absolutely awful.
6+2 weeks and having constant nausea- retching every 5 minutes.
Threw up in the shower yesterday too :-(
Trying the wrist bands, ginger stuff, sweets, cold water but nothing seems to work
Any tips on things to try? Much appreciated.xx

Docbrock · 03/06/2014 18:01
Sad
BilboTheAlmighty · 03/06/2014 18:14

I feel for you Docbrock. I've started sipping on sports water with electrolytes. It doesn't stop the nausea but it makes my body feel better for some reason.

Also are you sick first thing in the morning? I find that eating right when I WAKE up helps. If only a cracker. Xxx

Docbrock · 03/06/2014 18:52

Thanks for the tip. Might try sports drink.
Wake up with nausea about 6 and run downstairs to eat something quickly! Might try having something by the bed so don't have to run!

Seems it ease off around 6pm so can try some bland dinner. Then I'm bracing myself for another day of it tomorrow.

Want to be happy as I'm over the moon to be pregnant after MC last year but struggling it feel much more than misery at the moment. Can't work as the retching is socially unacceptable!

Hope you're all feeling ok. Good to know we're not alone but wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy! Xx
