I've been pregnant before but MCd and don't really remember what To do.
By my last period I think I'm about 5 weeks.
I haven't told DP yet because he's at work and we have my DSD tonight so will wait until tomorrow before I tell him so she doesn't overhear at all.

I'm in my first year of a work based degree so timing could be better.

Now I just don't know what happens next!

So I guess this means I'm pregnant!!! What now?

Ring your GP and ask the receptionists how first appointments are made in your area (do you need to see GP, go straight to MWs and if so how, and what early PG services there are in your area).

Join an Antenatal Club PG chat thread on MN: here's the due in February one

And congratulations.

Whether you decide to continue with the pregnancy or not, either way you need to make an appointment with your gp. They will discuss the options with you and if you decide not to continue then they will advise you of the next steps to take. On the other hand if you decide to continue with the pregnancy they will gladly refer you to a midwife who will then contact you between 8-12 weeks along depending on your location. Hope this helps Smile

Wow, you really wanted to be sure, didn't you! Grin Congratulations!

Not much happens really - tell your GP or midwifery service directly if you have a number for them, they'll arrange a booking in appointment for some point between now and your twelve week scan. Then it all goes a bit quiet and you're left wondering, is that really it? And if you actually imagined it. Or maybe that was just me...

Well I did one and didn't believe it so just carried on until I felt convinced Grin

I range GP was given the pack with all the notes and freebies etc that day that was a Monday (3 days after positive test) they then said the midwife is here tomorrow and Wednesday so will book you in so saw her next day and because I've been on pill and don't know exact dates I was phoned with a scan app for 5 days later Smile
So give them a ring and good luck x
