Hi,

According to Ov date I am 5+4 today. Not far along I know but in my first pregnancy I am pretty sure I had some symptoms mainly sore boobs, cramps, needing a wee more and complete emotional break down (exaggeration maybe) also I remember feeling totally grossed out by the thought of alcohol (first sign in fact I was pregnant). Since then I had a mc at 4 wks and then found out on Sunday I am pg again. Great news but have no symptoms really. the only things I have noticed are sore / heavy boobs and shortness of breath a bit (also had last pg) but definitely no sickness, no more weeing, no emotional outbursts. Bit of mild cramping but nothing much. I am really really panicking that it's not going to work out and just wanted to hear some positive stories :-)

Also I will book in for an early scan but I think it's too early to see anything at this stage isn't it?

Thanks

I had s scan at about 6 weeks and could only see a sack, had to go back a week later to see a heartbeat.

I didn't get any symptoms until about 6 weeks, my MIL was lucky and had no symptoms at all during all 3 of her pregnancies. Try not to worry!

ilovechops · 30/05/2014 09:13

Thanks MrsGSR, yes thought it too early to see anything yet. I might book in for one around 8 weeks for reassurance. I had one last time due to bleeding and found it amazing.

You're right I should be carefull what I wish for symptom wise and enjoy feeling well and happy!

My main symptom was sore breasts for a long time. And then in the middle of week 6, I started feeling very nauseous. I really thought I had avoided it. It came out of nowhere so I wouldn't worry too much.

Incidentally, my mum never experienced nausea through her 2 pregnancies.

hubbahubster · 30/05/2014 09:50

In my last pg I had no symptoms. She's now a week old ;) every pg is different, had sore boobs etc with her brother!

twiglet2 · 30/05/2014 09:59

My symptoms started at 6 weeks. Until then I thought how nice and easy being pregnant was - I ate all the right things and made it to the gym 3 times a week. From 6 weeks I was knackered and felt queasy all the time and went off pretty much everything and finding stuff I wanted to eat was a real struggle. I think the hardest thing with pregnancy is that everyone is different, which makes it hard to judge how you're doing. I just kept everything crossed and waited for the 12 week scan, but if you need the reassurance, book a scan for 8 weeks when you can see a bit more of what is going on...

I got nothing till 7.5 weeks then BAM! Sick as a dog.

My mum carried twins with 'a bit of a metallic taste about 8 weeks' and no sickness... Sometimes the hcg just doesn't cause a big reaction!

Cuppachaplz · 30/05/2014 17:10

I have every symptom going with this pregnancy.
Incidentally, every other pregnancy I have had (including DS) has been symptom free, so I have taken this as a reason to panic.... Confused

splendide · 30/05/2014 17:29

I had no symptoms at all until about 7 weeks I think. Then just very tired and a bit sicky feeling but not very.

Ducky23 · 30/05/2014 18:03

I am currently 9+7 with no symptoms Smile

Have had 2 scans, first at 6+2 so there is a baby in there! At 6 weeks only saw a blob with a flicker (heartbeat) Smile

ViviPru · 30/05/2014 18:17

9+1 and pretty symptomless here too. Like twiglet I'm just staying positive until 12 week scan (which is thankfully scheduled for wk11)

I'm trying to enjoy the fact this has all been a bit of a breeze so far!

amy246 · 30/05/2014 18:35

I had no symptoms for most of the first trimester and didn't even realise I was pregnant for the first 6/7 weeks! It is worrying but everyone is different.

amy246 · 30/05/2014 18:36

Forgot to say, I'm now 26 weeks!

BazilGin · 30/05/2014 19:58

Hi, with my first I had no symptoms whatsoeverforthe first 3 months. I spent a fortune on pregnancy tests, becausei just had to reassure myself I still was ! Good luck x

Pinotgrigioplease · 30/05/2014 20:05

I had no symptoms last time (ended up woth a hethy 9lb+ baby) and am now 6+2 and no symptoms again.

I had an early scan last time at 9weeks and will do the same this time. 12 weeks is too long to wait for me!

Try not to worry OP x

Ummmmgogo · 30/05/2014 21:44

Book a private early scan! I had no symptoms, booked an early scan for 7w and literally as soon as I saw the heartbeat on the screen I started feeling symptoms. I think I didn't let myself feel symptoms until I knew everything was ok if you know what I mean? Now I'm 8w and feel terrible! X

Raskova · 30/05/2014 21:48

I didn't have any symptoms til my whole body belly got fat and my ankles and feet swelled like tree trunks.

Congratulations Thanks

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 31/05/2014 09:33

27 weeks, all is well. Have barely had any symptoms. Stopped taking regular medication so have had heart burn. Am more tired than normal and have more back pain than usual, but this has only been for the last few weeks.

petitverdot · 31/05/2014 09:37

I had no symptoms except for sore boobs and ravenous hunger, and even they disappeared at about 9-10 weeks. Now 23+1 and little boy has been kicking away this morning so all well so far Smile

alittlehelp · 31/05/2014 09:46

I am nearly 24 weeks and the only symptoms I've had are feeling a bit more tired and slightly sore boobs (neither of which appeared until around 10 weeks).

I actually had more symptoms with my previous pregnancy, but that pregnancy ended with miscarriage, so I don't think symptoms / lack thereof tell you very much. But I know how you feel, I wished I was puking up at the start of this pregnancy!

Congratulations and good luck xx

HopefulHamster · 31/05/2014 10:14

I am nearly 22 weeks and didn't start getting symptoms until the baby started kicking me...

ilovechops · 01/06/2014 15:33

Thanks guys! Seems like it's pretty common not to have many symptoms this early on. Going to book for an early scan at 7 wks ish for reassurance but in the meantime will enjoy feeling fine (altho completely shattered today!)

I'm 18 + 5 and have had no symptoms...not even sore boobs! Like you I was panicking and was terrified for my 12 week scan....however baby was healthy and active and I've just started feeling it's first kicks.

Don't panic, you're maybe just one of the lucky ones!

Alwaysbuybigpants · 01/06/2014 21:25

I was about five months until I noticed anything to be honest!! Knew I was pregnant right away of course because of missed period and test, but I remember being so worried at my 3 month scan that there was nothing in my belly! Now I've got a right little wriggler.

Don't worry, each pregnancy is totally different. So sorry to hear about the MC, all the very best of luck x

ThingsThatShine · 01/06/2014 21:27

I think it was about 6 weeks for me
