miscarriage at 6 weeks?

Hi all.
Found out I was pregnant 7 days ago. Earlier today I started bleeding its now heavier than what my period would be and there's some clots now which are quite big.. Could this be a miscarriage? And do I have to go to the doctors or do I just let it go naturally. I'm only 19 and the one person that knows I'm pregnant knows nothing about miscarriages and I've not told my mum yet. Thanks for any help xx

I'm so sorry this is happening to you , it does sound like the start of a miscarriage but I'm not an expert. I think you need to see a doctor as soon as possible as you are passing clots. Can you get to a&e?

ohh..u will have to get an ultrasound done ASAP! that way only they will be sure what it is..dont worry though. worry only makes things bad..

I would go to your gp and ask for a referral to the EPU, it is important to check if it is a mc, in case of infection,twins etc. I found my EPU to be very supportive(mc around 6weeks) and they saw me within a few hours of the gp contacting them.
