Has anyone else managed to conceive following an ectopic pregnancy? I only have one fallopian tube and 1 and a half ovaries following an operation for an ovarian cyst removal. I think I'm too old to qualify for IVF.
I think that I am approaching an age where I'll be too old full stop.

Not me personally but my mum was born with only one ovary and managed to have 3 of us. She only found out she had one at the age of 48 and that was 15 years after my little sister was born!! It was never spotted at any scans and it was only discovered when she went in for surgery for endometriosis and a prolapsed uterus.

Hope this gives you a bit of perspective.

I lost my right tube due to ectopic in 2002. The following year i was pregnant. Unfortunately ectopic again (sticky tubes) but i did get pregnant. It is possible to conceive with 1 tube. Best of luck Smile Flowers

I lost an ovary and tube (same side) to cancer after #1.

Baby #2 and baby #3 (currently pg with #3) both conceived first month of trying :)
