8 weeks pregnant worries

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and last week my pregnancy symptoms disappeared, no more sickness, no breast tenderness and food I had gone off I am now fine with. I've also had some strange discharge, it has been green and mucus and then changed to a light yellow colour and is starting to get darker, I've had that for 3-4 days now, but it has no odour and is not accompanied by itching or burning etc. I've also had really bad period-like pains, including pain in my lower back and hips. I also seem to be losing a little bit of weight despite eating a lot lol. I have had 3 previous pregnancies my first resulting in my 2 year old son :) and second and third resulting in very early miscarriages. I didn't have any of these pains with my boy, and my symptoms were there all the way through! The only time I've experienced this odd green stuff was at the end of my pregnancy with my son, as I remember being excited thinking it was my mucus plug lol. The whole feeling of being pregnant has completely disappeared, anyone got any ideas what could be going on? Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Im afraid I have no idea but think it may be a good idea to go to your gp or maybe even your epu? Though it is a good sigh that your jot bleeding!

I think it would be worth a call to your EPU to see what they say. It is normal for pregnancy symptoms to fluctuate but I think with the pain and discharge too you should definitely be checked out.

Hi Nessie,

Really sorry you're worried, please ring your midwife today just to get some reassurance or an appointment for screening.

I'm also 8 weeks, about week 5 my morning sickness started and in week 6 it literally just dissapeared for 3 days and I didn't even feel pregnant. It came back though with a total vengeance.

Might just be fluctuations etc. The back ache and hip ache is it constant? I have back ache too and also lower hip ache but my midwife told me this is total normal and something to do with muscles stretching etc, especially the front pain.

I've also got discharge this week, how it is is different with everything but if it doesn't smell and there's no blood it's not a worry I was told. Some of mine hasn't been attractive.

Hopefully you can just enjoy the break before it starts up again! Let me know how you get on.

Thank you for all your replies, I will try and talk to someone about it tomorrow.
Donkle - yes the pain is constant, I had dull pains with my son but these are more like strong period pains, which I suffer with anyway but this seems to be worse pain than that. The only time I really had pains in my hips was in Labour, obviously right now it's not as bad as that. And I know every pregnancy is different but my last 3 two resulting in early miscarriages have all had strong symptoms. My first pregnancy which resulted in my son was awful sickness wise and smells and everything that lasted for the whole 41 weeks. So it seems all very new and strange to me. I'll keep you posted. Thank you
