I am 29+5 and have been prescribed iron tablets which I have to take once a day, with/after food, however they state on the bottle that you cannot take any indigestion remedies for two hours before or after taking the tablet. I have been suffering from horrendous heartburn almost constantly for weeks and typically it is worst after eating, have been using both ranitidine and Gaviscon double action. Does anyone know why you can't take indigestion/heartburn remedies when taking the iron tablets? Took today's with lunch half an hour ago and am now desperate for some gaviscon! Just wanted to know if I could risk it really....
