It is probably something as simple as the doctor's tests not being as sensitive. By those tests (assuming the lines appeared in time) you are pregnant. I know every hour feels like a day but try to distract yourself for a few days and test again.

I really hope so yes they appeared before my eyes. I even made my friend do a test just to make sure they wasn't faulty, and no faint line appeared (she would of been in bother).i got the docs on Wednesday morning with my sample again but in dreading the results being neg again, i feel in trying to convince them even tho they have seen my tests, thank you for your comment its appreciated ?? x

I have found that sometimes the nurse doesn't wait the required time to read the test. This happened to me. I was told my test was negative. Well that negative test is currently shouting for his dinner and is 22 months.
Take a test in to the Drs and ask for a blood test. That will settle it :)

Haha that made me laugh batteryhen. As we speak my bloody huskies are trying to make babies of their own..nothing like a reminder lol...i guess its just a waiting game i have pco 2 so maybe that's a factor with hormone levels..i deffo no im pregnant iv been lovely to my partner for a whole month??

Those are definitely pregnant tests. Why did your dr test? They usually just take your word for it that you have had a positive home test and tell you to book a mw appointment? If they won't refer you to a mw without a positive test of their own, request a blood HCG test - that will be definitive.

But will deff asking for blood test this visit x

I started bleeding so went to the hospital they put me on a drip because i was really pale didn't even examine me. She come back to me said my bloods were fine but negative wee sample and passed it off as an early miscarriage, i took another test the day after morning wee and positive, so i rung the docs and wanted a second opinion she tested and negative, she actually internally examined me saw blood nothing major but closed cervix a good sign i think x

Just checking it's a first morning urine sample your Dr is checking? The hormones are more concentrated in the 1st sample of the day.

Hoping it shows a positive for you at the Dr Grin

shivers1986 · 26/05/2014 17:46

Yes it was at the docs, but not at a a&e and came out negative! Im just hoping its my hormone's that are not strong enough as in all the other cases....i know my body and their is something in their causing my symptoms x

Thinking of you and hoping you've had some good news.

frankiebuns · 28/05/2014 12:18

I was pregnant and dr didnt even know how to read peer test had to ask a female colleague he said negative and he put it on the side we kept chatting about possibilities and I asked him if he could check it again and he said actually yes he a hadn't waited right time and b he said they are only cheapy ones they use

HazleNutt · 28/05/2014 12:55

There were a few threads here where doctors claimed it was negative, as they thought the line has to be the same strength than control line.

I couldnt help but giggle at you getting your friend to take one aswel :) dont mean any offense by that i just have a stoopid imagination....can you imagine what men must think of us women sometimes haha i would say you are pregnant but do get it confirmed by blood test, and if your dic refuses go find another. I hope it still is a positive outcome for you :D bless you bith been trying for so long, send you some hugs :) x
