Big moves in night and cramps pain, labour imminent????

Last night I hardly slept a wink, baby was moving about sticking his bum out , my stomach ended up in a very weird and distorted shape sometimes then I started feeling pressure down below like weird movement right down low. To go with it I had crampy achy pains? Is this baby preparing or is labour iminent?????

Maybe it's engaging? How many weeks are you?

Well, I'm 28w with dc1 so don't have much advice but good luck to you! It won't be long now, whatever happens :-)

Id say its engageing. I just had dc 3 11 weeks ago. With this dc i literally felt him engage and had the symptoms you describe and this was confirmed by mw. I was booked for c section 3 days before my dd and went into labour waiting to go to theatre.
With dc 1/2 i was over a week over due. So, maybe you will start in labour soon but its no guarentee. Good luck either way!
