I am 20+4 weeks pregnant with DC2. I've not had my 20 week scan yet - it's next week.

I had a tiny, tiny streak of old (brown) blood mixed in with a large quantity of mucous discharge (sorry if tmi!) when I wiped mid-morning. I had sex with DH last night, so not sure if that is why? No pain & baby is still moving. I just wondered if anyone else had experienced this? I never had it last time, until just before I went into labour. I don't really want to call MW, I'm not convinced there is anything to worry about, it was so minor. But am I being silly to leave it?

I occasionally bleed when I've had sex. First time it happened I was distraught! Turna out I have a cervical ectropion so its likely to keep happening. The midwife has told me to get it checked out every time just to rule out other causes.

If you are worried I'd call your midwife or pregnancy unit :-)

Thank you. I should have said, I had bleeding quite regularly after a sex a few years ago when I had a copper coil, I was told I had a tiny cervical erosion & it was nothing to worry about, although I could get it lasered. Then I got pregnant with DS (despite the coil), had the coil removed & it never happened again. On that basis, I suspect my cervix is maybe a bit sensitive, and DH was being a bit enthusiastic last night Blush. Maybe I'll get checked though, to be certain.
