Upper abdominal pain. Stretching??

I'm 18 weeks pregnant with dc2.
I had emergency surgery in December to get my gall bladder removed. One month later I fell pregnant. Since then I have experienced these pain but only for a couple minutes and then they passed. Usually when I had trapped wind.

But since yesterday it stayed. When I change position in bed it, it feels like everything is getting ripped out of there. Can hardly take a deep breath without having this pain. Or laugh. It is at the same spot Always. And it is between the scar from the gall bladder and belly button.

I had mentioned it to my Gp once when it was lasting only for a couple minutes and she said it is normal..

Was it soon for my body to get pregnant after surgery? Did not have time to heal properly? Damage to the tissue or muscle from surgery? Or is this just stretching and making room for the baby. I didn't had this with my first..

Oh and I can't even touch that spot as it is painful.

I don't know what I should do. If this sounds normal than I won't even bother to see my Gp as I noticed she finds everything normal.

I've got upper abdominal aches from time to time (25wks, have had for some weeks) which midwife assures me is everything stretching. But nothing as bad as you are describing, and not specific to one spot.

It doesn't sound normal to me, I'm not meical, but it might be just where growing baby is putting pressure on the wound (surely must take months to heal 100%?) I would go and see your doctor again, or phone your midwife. Better to have it checked over and have it be nothing, than not get it checked and have something that could be treated!

As I don't feel pregnant at all since week 9.. But had an early scan heard the heart beat twice already..

Saw my Doctor and the pain I have is from hernia. And she said there is nothing that can be done and is common for second pregnancy as special if they are so close. My oldest is 8 month
