Help me find a cheap nightie for hospital/birth

I know what I want, but hunting high and low I cannot find it! I need to buy something to wear for labour/birth as I really don't own anything that fits the bill.

What I want is:

-button down for skin-to-skin
-short sleeves or vest and cool material
-not skimpy
-dark colour.

Obviously this is perfect as it is designed for the purpose but £40 for something that will probably get trashed seems excessive. So the final criteria is:

-cheap!

Help? Confused

Sorry ickle Grin

That bonprix one ticks all the boxes, although it sounds like dark colours are much more important post-birth than for labour and birth itself. So I think I'm going to get a nightdress in whatever colour and an extra pair of cheap black loose jersey joggers/yoga pants for post birth in case of emergency!

When I was pregnant with ds1 I bought a cheap nightie from Primark. I loved it so much I bought an identical one in a slightly smaller size to wear after the birth. I'm glad I didn't spend much on my birth nightie as it got drenched in blood so I just threw it in the bin immediately after I'd had a bath. With Ds2 I didn't even have time to change out of my clothes as he appeared so fast. My advice would be to get something as cheap as possible.

I got 2 for 1 from M&S in about 3 sizes too big. i think they were cotton/tencel mix so very soft. Wide neck line so I could yank it down to bfeed at nightime.

I still wear them ;) I was naked when I actually gave birth so despite bleeding, they're not stained!

However, there are two dark patches on the material over where my boobs are because - and NO ONE TELLS YOU THIS - lansinoh stains like hell!

have ruined all my pjs and nighties with the stuff. And some bedsheets!
