Bleeding after sex

I'm 24 weeks pregnant tomorrow and not sure whether to worry too much or not as me as DH had sex this evening, and had a bit of spotting when wiping earlier :/ in my last pregnancy I had a bit of spotting around 28 weeks, but never knew what had caused that, it was only a little bit tonight, but I panic so much. I already had to see a MW over the weekend for reduced movements, but don't want them to think I am over reacting at everything :(

I had exactly the same thing at about the same time. Brown spotting for a couple of days afterwards too. Mentioned it to my midwife and she wasn't worried at all; she said its completely normal. Haven't dtd since though, just because I really didn't like it...!

Ring your midwife. They will never think you are over reacting. Any blood is worth a phone call

I had that with my last pregnancy. When you're pregnant your cervix goes through lots of changes and becomes much more vascular and prone to bleeding when knocked during sex.
If it's just light spotting with no pains I wouldn't worry at all x

Thanks everyone, I checked throughout the night and this morning, and thankfully no more. Think that's the last of DTD for a while now!

Always ring if you are worried, but everytime I've had a bleed the first thing they have asked me is "have you had sex in the last 24hrs?" so I'd imagine it's a common side effect.
