Hi

I am 8 weeks pregnant and about to go on holiday can I go on the water slides with my son?

I don't think it's recommended, to be honest. I don't know what kind of water park it is - if it's one for very young children with low-key slides you'd probably be OK, but in my experience you tend to hit the water pretty hard at most of these parks as you pick up quite a lot of speed coming down the slides. I've had to physically extract my swimming costume from quite far up my backside after hitting the water so I'm not sure it's a good idea to go on these things while pregnant.

Personally, I wouldn't risk it.

You may be okay on the more gentle slides, but a lot of the wilder ones do warn against pregnant women going on them.

I agree with everyone else... while you will probably be ok, at 8 weeks I really wouldnt risk it... no slide is worth it!!! Its a great excuse t be able to lie by the pool, get a little tan, drink nice juices and read your book!!!

you def can't go on anythign to adventurous, and I wouldnt risk any tbh. I've jsut come back and even the smaller ones, you do hit the water with some force and you've got to think about getting your son up above the water too. it's nto worth it.
