I'm about 11+2 and have just scoffed (I'm ashamed to admit it) two Greggs cheese and onion pasties. Had a major craving for one (or two obviously!). However, they weren't very hot, just warm like they'd been sitting around for a couple of hours. I'm now panicking I'm going to get food poisoning.

Just hoping for some reassurance really - would you worry about this?

I wouldn't worry at all, that is fine.

Don't worry, you won't get food poisoning from processed cheese. It's only meat which shouldn't be left warm for hours. I don't think Greggs would risk getting sued, either. Relax Smile

No, you'll be fine, so long as you're not allergic to cheese!

With above poster - Greggs wouldn't want to risk being sued!

I lived on those while I was pregnant - they were the only thing I could face with morning sickness.
Don't worry!

Bloody lovely aren't they? Have eaten more than my fair share this pregnancy and am fine. As will you be :)

Thanks for replies ladies. Mumsnet it my first port of call when I need pregnancy craziness reassurance Wink

I looked on the NHS website you see and it said that you can get food poisoning from foods that have been left warm for some time. And these had, hence my concern. But I'll put my trust in good old Greggs that they wouldn't risk it for fear of legal action Confused
