DS is 3 and may have slapped cheek.

I'm 32 weeks pregnant. Everything on the internet talks about it being a problem but stops with advice after 20 weeks. Does that mean it's fine?

I was exposed through work at 16 weeks and had to have antibody tests to check if I was already immune. They may be able to do this, but I seem to remember being told that not an issue after 25 weeks? Your midwife will know if you give her a call. You are highly likely to be immune already, most people get it as a kid, even if they don't know they've had it.

I came in contact through my niece when I was about 16 weeks, had to get a blood test done by the practice nurse, which came back showing that I didn't catch it and had immunity. Think the best thing is for you to go and see s

Oops.... See someone MW or nurse tomorrow to get the blood test done. I think it's only an issue if you get it before 20 weeks, and you're very likely to have had it as a child without realising, but nice to put your mind at ease :)

The doctor said he doesn't think it's slapped cheek anyway as his cheeks aren't symmetrical. Worrying over nothing!
