Try an ice cube wrapped in something so you don't get a cold burn.

Movicol is a stool softener as opposed to a laxative. Works well.

Anusol ! Quick !

Witch hazel on a cotton ball helps reduce the size a bit, have heard ice cubes recommended but never tried that! There is an awesome steroid cream you can get from your MW, only thing that has made me able to sit down for the past week Blush

Definitely start taking fybogel or metamucil now and keep it up until after you've had bubs, labour damage + piles + hard poo would be total agony! Kiwi fruit is also helpful, MWs in hosp recommended eating 1-2 a day after I had my DD. You can blitz them up and add to smoothies too, although they do make it look a bit yuk!

Totally feeling your pain though, and dreading what's going to happen to them in labour Confused
