Juicing when pregnant

I'm six weeks pregnant and for the first time in ten days I'm able to stomach something other than KFC fried chicken and plain salted chips, crisps and porridge... Soo I decided to do some juicing.

I sterilised my juicer with boiling water, then washed and juiced two cups of spinach, half a cucumber, two oranges, a small piece of ginger and a lemon. It was delicious and I followed it down with some pumpkin power munchy seeds. NOM. OM. OM!

My question is, are there any other juicers out there?
Do you know if there are any juices I should be avoiding at home?
And on the subject of munchy seeds (which are delicious if you haven't tried any) are sesame seeds ok to eat? I've read conflicting advice.

So three questions really :/

Hi

First of all congratulations! =) and well done for moving on from KFC and crisps!

I stick with the old - everything is good in moderation (except for obvious no no's such as pate and few kinds of mould cheeses, raw fish, alcohol - though I know mums who were having an occasional glass of red during pregnancy).

Juice is fruit and veg. You're allowed all fruit and veg, just clean all mud off before juicing. :)

I've been juicing all through pregnancy. When i say juicing, i mean one every morning- not days on end of nothing but juice

I use juice and then blend in some veg.. my favourite is:

Juice 2 apples, 2 carrots, half a lemon.

Put the juice in a blender and blend in Kale, spinach, berries.

You need the 'whole' fruit blended for the fibre, especially later in pregnancy when you clog up!

Been having 1 glass of wine a week.. honestly think i'd go insane without it!! cant wait for a full bottle though :)
