Has anyone had any experiences of long haul flights in the last trimester and is there any advice you can give me?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I flew to San Fransisco and back at about 34 weeks and was absolutely fine. As long as you get a letter from your doctor to say you are fit to fly most people will take you and give you a bulk cabin seat (i.e. you get a bit more leg room). The issue is whether you can get travel insurance. The latest I could go was 34 weeks and that was with the post office travel insurance (the latest I could find). before you book make sure you read the airlines travel advice (as I am sure you have) to make sure that you comply with their stipulations - go and have a great time.

Cheers for that, was a bit worried about the travel insurance thing but will try the post ofice. Am stopping in the States for a couple of hours, don't want to be without insurance there if I happen to give birth!
