How far along were when you had your dating scan?

I'm 10 weeks now and wondering when my dating scan will be. I was 12+2 last time so am expecting it to be around then but I guess it could be after 13 weeks couldn't it. Want it to be sooner rather than later!

Thought it was 12 weeks but when we got there and had the scan they said I was 11 week (they moved my due date back five days) I had to go back the following week and the difference in what the baby looked like was amazing. Smile

I was 12+2 by my dates. The scan dated me at 12+4.

I was around 11 weeks but they put me forward about 11 days.

I thought I was twelve weeks, but the dating scan showed I was sixteen weeks!

Mine was at 13 weeks 2 days but scan put me at 13 weeks 5 days. :-)

I got my scan letter yesterday. I will be 15 weeks when I have my dating scan?? I wonder why that is? Currently 11+1...

I was 13+5 with mine, I think if its a dating scan, rather than a nuchal scan they aren't so bothered about doing it in your 12th weeks.

Nov did you choose not to have the nuchal translucency test? In which case it doesn't matter but if you would like this then you need to contact them to move it forward.

I only had my booking in on Thursday so hoping for a letter next week with my appointment. And hoping it's not too far off...

Gosh what is that test for? I ticked that I wanted every test doing so I'm guessing I didn't opt out of that?! Does that have to be before 15 weeks then?

First time round they didn't offer the nuchal scan here so had my dating scan at 10+4. Second time round had it at 13+6, only just in time for the NT scan.

Nov, if you want screening, the nuchal translucency screening is quite important.

I was too far along for the NT test, if u want it done u need to rearrange your appointment

My dates said 12+3, dated me at 13+1.

DS1 - 9+1 (because of bleeding)
DS2 - 10+3
DS3 - 17+0
baby I miscarried - 12+6
DS4 - 11+4
DS5 - 16+0

So quite varied!
