Waters leaking at 35 weeks induction at 37 weeks...just wondering if anyone else had/having similar

I'm very new at posting so please bare with me

Basically my waters started leaking on tues at 35 weeks, admitted and monitored given steroid injections and anti biotics to prevent any infection.....it's just a waiting game now and will be induced at 37 weeks if baba doesn't come on her own....just wondering if anybody else is in the same situation or been in the same situation, with any advice....so scared

My waters leaked at 32 weeks with my DS and he was induced at 35 weeks. The stay in hospital got to me after a while but I never showed any signs of infection and was induced as planned. My DS spent a few days in nicu and then scbu but was born a little earlier than your baby is planned to be and 3 years on he is absolutely fine and you would never know. My advice would be to stay positive and ask as many questions as you can during doctors rounds as it was conflicting opinions about what my care plan should be that messed with my head the most - but it sounds like you have a care plan in place already which is great x

Thanks so much for sharing what you went through, it's so reassuring to hear somebody who's been through a similar situation, and so glad your little ones doing great ......so nervous my dd1 was text book pregnancy and born exactly at 40 weeks....this pregnancy has been anything but....just makes me really anxious....it's put my mind at rest hearing your story hun, thanks for the reassurance

It's such a Scarey time isn't it....it makes it a little easier knowing that you guys have been in a similar situation, thanks for helping putting my mind at ease ....I will let you know how it goes xx
