Haha Thats not thick! Its up high on YOUR right! Hope its nothing but a baby foot kicking you under the ribs though. Grin

I think it might be worth you ringing your midwife or dialling 111 (non emergency number) for advice.

Hi Frankie, I had similar and rang the assessment clinic at the hospital for advice. I'm not high risk but they said they'd rather check me out. I and baby was monitored for an hour or so and wee tested - all fine. They out it down to baby being high up moving organs out of the way. Definitely get it checked out though- the hospital didn't mind at all with me and it's always best to ask, even if just to put your mind at ease. Hope all is ok

Hi, get checked just in case. Epigastric pain (liver pain) can be a sign of pre eclampsia. It probably isn't if the pain has gone again but get checked anyway cause PE can come on very quickly. Hope all is ok.

Errrr2012 · 08/05/2014 18:24

Duh, just seen that you've been told to look out for PE signs. Hope everything is ok.

So glad that everything checked out ok. Hope baby doesn't give you much more grief- mine eventually moved down enough to ease the pain!

hartmel · 08/05/2014 23:32

Get it checked out.. And don't let them guess it might be the baby kicking.. Had the same thing. Upper stomach pain. And I got worse the bigger the baby got..
And had to be induced at the end because my liver results dropped and three month after baby was born I had to have an emergency surgery to get my gallbladder removed. And by then my results where so low I was close to having jaundice..

I hope you don't have it as it is not fun to have those pains and being pregnant..

Good luck..

(Sorry if I scared you)
