Hi all, I'm 8+3 today, but have noticed in the last few weeks I am really struggling to concentrate at work or at home. I can't watch a whole TV episode as I get distracted or bored easily, can't crochet for the same reason, and I am worried I am letting things slip at work.

Anyone have suggestions as to a) if this is normal, b) if it will go away again soon! c) anything that may help my attention span!!

Thanks.

It is normal chuck so dw :) and it will subside but you will probs have an off day as i call them. With our 1st pg wich resulted in mc, before i even thought i could of been pregnant i Had this at work kept ballsing everything up wich did piss my supervisor off lol and i was so exhausted amd tired and hungry all the time. The. When i tested it all made sense :) it does pass, i had it again this time round. You could ask your doc to put you on sick for 3month if your really struggling, cus once your past your 1st tri youl notice little things and start to pick up a bit :) im now 30wks with complications and missing my great feelings of the 2nd tri :( lol also worried about how im going to give birth because of various probs. and be suprised if they let me go naturally x

It's normal. I was knackered until about 14 weeks. Would fall asleep reading a book or watching TV despite 10 hours sleep. Make sure you get enough vitamins and iron in as anaemia doesn't help and is common in pregnancy. For most people it gets better from around 10-14 weeks.
