Streaching stomach and pain

I am 24 weeks and feel like this baby wants to burst out of my stomach, these last 2 days have been hard. I think he is having a growth spurt or something. my skin feels like it'll snap. I'm really uncomfortable, I've tried a warm shower, oil massage but I need to sleep is there anything else I can do?

I'm 23 weeks and feel the same: like my belly is going to pop! Especially when he pushes outwards, it's so uncomfortable! I just hope it is a growth spurt and my stomach skin will stretch and get used to it.

I'm sure it's normal at this stage, on average babies double in size every 3 weeks from now on so I guess its to be expected. but the pain around my stomach is awful and the sensation of my skin stretching is so uncomfortable. I think we just need to suck it up and get on with it. only 16 weeks to go!

I agree :) it's not for long now, and think of the end result! :)

I had about 3 days like this - awful! But it passed.

Now I'm grumpy because I haven't had much for a few days, keep imagining poor bubs isn't growing enough in there! Fat chance, she keeps sending out psychic orders for mint chocolate Never happy! :)

I got no sleep last night but feel better today. I can see the difference in my tummy, definitely a marked difference in size.

I hear you on the food thing. I ate nothing until 14 weeks due to morning sickness and have been making up for it ever since. I've put on 8kgs. I'm all boobs, bum and belly. My DD said I'm like a mammy elephant!
