just had stretch and sweep

39 + 5 days and had an appointment today with doctor and they gave me a stretch and sweep around 4.30pm. got home now and had a show. The doctor said i was 2cm and really ripe. I now have really dull pains in stomach but not sure whether its contractions or not.... wonder if the blood is just because of the sweep and if it will mean i will go into labour after this.....

Probably heading for labour. Just try and eat and sleep and play the waiting game. Good luck!

Sounds like the start of it. 1 1/2hrs after mine I had a massive contraction and 6hrs later had a baby. Get some sleep while you can!

fingers crossed this is the start of it then. such a dull ache like period pain. going to have a shower now and get ready just incase xxx
