Umm....at risk of sounding stupid, DP was doing perineal massage for me yesterday, and we realised that the pelvic bones that you can feel through the skin down there seem to be VERY close together - definitely too narrow to fit a baby's head through. Do they widen during labour??? I've been pretty calm about childbirth up till now, but now I'm worried I won't physically be able to do it! Help!
